Now there is a video to go with the deep dark track that takes you on a hard tour of Copenhagen’s crime inflicted quarter Nordvest. ‘Nordvest‘ is a movie about Casper’s journey into the criminal universe and the conflicts arising from that neighbourhood

If you have been followed the Baba BlackFacebook page, you would know that they promised new releases and a lot of edit/bootlegs in 2013.
Lucky for us, they kept their promise and we’ve recieved a bunch of edits/bootlegs which we will share with you next time.

We have been getting a ton of requests for a certain track, that Lulu Rouge played for the first time at Distortion Copenhagen. We played it last week on our visit to P6 Beat Radio and the requests have been pouring in.
The track we are talking about is no other then Baba Black’s Bootleg of danish legend Kim Larsen “Midt Om Natten” with a whole new sound but with the track still intact.
It touches you straight to the heart “If you are Danish and Know it ” and you can sing along throughout the whole song.
For the non Danish wondering…. “WTF !!”
Kim Larsen is a Danish musician & hero and the track “Midt Om Natten” is from the soundtrack from a Social Political movie from 1984 with the same name as the track “Midt Om Natten”

Today I was visiting P6 Beat where i had a chat with Alicia Jordanova about the blog and music on the blog. I was lucky to be able to play a world premier track “Flame”, from Kúra’s debut album “Halfway to the Moon” which is going set to be released on 30 th of April. I cannot post the track on the blog just yet, but hope to be able to when the album is released.
Beside Kúra i played one of my favorite tracks at the moment, Little Dragon “Ritual Union” a Maya Jane Cole Remix, which has been posted before and you can find here.
I ended with a Baba Black Mashup and if you follow the blog you will know that they are master when it comes to mashing tracks together.
